“To “assure” a person of something is to make him or her confident of it....”
– assure/ensure/insure via Common Errors in English Usage I have always wondered about that one! (via sds) Once worked as a copy writer in the insurance industry. This is one of my pet peeves. (via jaie)

Another grammar tip
gonzofreddie: sds: “Setup” is a noun. “The setup process is complete.” “To Set Up” is an infinitive verb. “Will you please set up this account?” “This account has been set up.” Everyone should know the difference. Most never even notice, but I do. Good call, except the first example you used ‘setup’ as an adjective. It should simply say “The setup is complete.”
